Shanghai is a lovely place to visit. It is China most dynamic city and the economic capital of the Asian giant. The city has an incredible contrast between old and new China, with ancient buildings that resist besides the modern skyscrapers and with "old thinking" Chinese living along with foreigners and modern Chinese.

If you want to have a glimpse of old Shanghai you can always visit the Yuyuan Shopping Center were traditional stores showcase the most demanded Chinese souvenirs.

If you need state of the art electronics and foreign products you can go to Xujiahui's (One of Shanghai's modern districts) Grand Gateway Mall and the Pacific Mall.
